Dalmau Consulting is honored to be connected with David A Hood and Associates Pty Ltd. David a chartered professional engineer, the immediate past National President of Engineers Australia, an Adjunct Professor in the Faculty of the Built Environment and Engineering at Queensland University of Technology, and recently received an Order of Australia for significant service to environmental engineering as an educator and researcher, through contributions to professional organizations, and to public awareness of sustainability.


About David

I specialize  in the areas of sustainability in the built environment, “green projects”, energy efficiency policy, engineering education and global engineering infrastructure.


I work with clients to design their operations and manage their assets to be sustainable.


I assist the engineering profession in evolving economies (particularly S E Asia and Africa) with the development of competency standards and assessment processes, practice registration and education upgrading and accreditation systems.
