We aim to develop specific solutions to specific problems relying most on the knowledge and understanding within the client organization itself.

We believe that the sense of identity and experience in a group of people is their richest resource for change. We aim to find ways and means of working with and supporting an organization so that the people themselves decide upon the nature of the changes and processes involved and then implement them. We believe that only in this way is lasting and committed change possible.

We aim to clarify the client the work to be done, including the goals to be achieved, the steps required to achieve them, the likely problems to be encountered and suitable ways of dealing with them, an operational timetable, and a likely fee estimate.

We aim to use as much internal client resources as possible thereby minimizing the use of outside consultants by the client organization without jeopardizing the thorough and efficient execution of the project, and prefer to work with identified people within the organization in order to train them to undertake similar work themselves in the future.

Throughout any given project we aim to progressively "hand over" to the client organization more and more of the significant decisions and choices. We commit ourselves to a mutual evaluation with the client upon completion of a project or task. Where the client organization lacks the skills and/or resources to implement an agreed course of action then we ensure they are provided. Furthermore, we aim to strike a balance between the need for the quick implementation of changes needed to remedy severe short term problems and a gradual approach which is more likely to enhance commitment among all those affected.
